Dimensia Kimkaiyo comic (now shortened to Dimensia) is a go!

The site's not fully set up the way I would like it, but I had to do a little something for my dear friend, Gretje, since she escapes from her place of confinement 8 hours a day.  In honor of first starting them on the now dead Oddlots Irregulars, I'll be having a new comic every Friday if all goes as planned. Yes; there are some new characters introduced in the most recent comic and there is a lot more.  Plans are to have a little character page for a comic and have some place to put them for general viewing.

I have plans of grandeur to do a whole campaign of illustrations against anal abuse in the work place.  I'm sorry, but a company should look at your work ethnics rather how often you're willing to take it in the end.  Just my opinion, but I guess I'm crAzy for thinking of such a concept!

Playing by the Rules Means NOT Playing by the Rules

I'm saying frick it to many of the norms and regulations they say to follow in the art world and am just going to do my own thing. Following the guidelines didn't do much so how much worse could it get?

All I'm saying is if you're going into the work force, use whatever "advantages" you have. (Unfortunately) Don't be honorable and play by the rules. Doing that is going to only hinder you and not give you a bloody chance. If you're a minority or half a minority or whatever--put that crap down when filling out stuff for school, scholarships, job applications! As much as I hate it, if you're just out of school and trying to get your first full time gig in your field, don't be humble and modest.  Many companies love self righteous B.S.  Just keep in mind, doing that might not land you the job of your dreams, but it will be something to put on your resume for your next step of finding a job you would enjoy staying with. Now unless you're gifted and like the next James Jean or something, then you can play it the way you want from the beginning (you lucky bastard, you).

This is at least for any profession in the creative fields....maybe other areas are kinder, but I can't see that being the case.

But alright, I'll get off my "Doug Stanhope" rage soap box now.
